3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3830 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 70 of Ordinance No. 3830 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFERENCE B,
10 ELECTED OFFICERS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
11 Annual Salary Class Code Classification Title
12 $90,617 210 Assessor
13 $93,440 215 Auditor - Controller
14 $87,442 230 Clerk _ Recorder
15 $114,878 235 District Attorney
16 $103,551 225 Sheriff -Coroner
17 $86,518 220 Treasurer -Tax Collector
18 and adding thereto the following:

26 Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from the date of passage,
27 pursuant to Section 25123 of the Government Code of the State of California. However,
28 the adjusted salaries enacted by this ordinance shall be and hereby made retroactive to July
1 5, 2003, and shall be operative as of that date.

6 The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed, before the expiration
7 of fifteen (15) days after its passage, to publish this ordinance in a newspaper in the
8 County of Butte, State of California.
9 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
10 12tH day of August , 2003, by the following vote:
