LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #01391), FROM 500 FEET SOUTH OF ANDERSON WAY (MP 3.68) TO EAST GRIDLEY ROAD (MP 4.03}. Section 2: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an engineering anal traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described came within the provisions of Sections 22349 {b) and 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that the speed limit of fifty-five {SS) miles per hour is more than is reasonable and safe on said highway and determines and declares prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highway as follows: That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five {35) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIM1T 35 signs are placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highway to wit: 1. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #02392), FROM EAST GRIDLEY ROAD (MP 4.03) TO 1000 FEET NORTH OF EAST GRIDLEY ROAD (MP 4.22}. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #01391), FROM 1000 FEET SOUTH OF HIGGINS AVENUE (MP 1.56) TO 800 FEET NORTH OF CLARDY AVENUE {MP 2.66}. Section 4: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described come within the provisions of Section 22357 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that the speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is reasonable and safe on said highway and determines and declares prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highway as follows: That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-fve {35) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 35 signs are placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highway to wit: 1. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #02392), FROM 0.35 MILES SOUTH OF ORD RANCH ROAD (MP 4.86} TO 400 FEET NORTH OF THE BUTTER-BUTTE CANAL (MP 5.73). Section 5: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described come within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that the speed limit of thirty-five {35) miles per hour is less than is reasonable and safe on said highway and determines and declares prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highway as follows: That a prima facie speed limit of forty (40) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 40 signs are placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highway to wit: Page 2 1 2 3 4 s 6 s 9 to Il 12 13 14 15 E6 17 la ]9 za zl zz 23 24 25 26 27 2a ,n 1. EAST GRIDLEY ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #09361}, FROM GRIDLEY CITY LIMITS (MP 0.27) TO 500 FEET EAST OF BOND LANE {MP 0.97). Section 6: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described come within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that the speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour is reasonable and safe an said highway and determines and declares prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highway as follows: That a prima facie speed limit of forty {45} miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LMT 45 signs are placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highway to wit: 1. EAST GRIDLEY ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #09361}, FROM 500 FEET EAST OF BOND LANE (MP 0.97} TO 1000 FEET EAST OF KIRK ROAD (MP 2.20}. Section 7: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of engineering and traffic surveys, the Butte County highways hereinafter described come within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, in that the speed limit of forty-five {45) miles per hour is less than is reasonable and safe on said highways and determines and declares prima facie speed limits on such Butte County highways as follows: That a prima facie speed limit offifty-five (55) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 55 signs are placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County street to wit: 1. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #01391), FROM 500 FEET SOUTH OF CAMPBELL AVENUE (MP1.10) TO 1000 FEET SOUTH OF HIGGINS AVENUE {MP 1.56}. 2. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #01391), FROM 800 FEET NORTH OF CLARDY AVENUE (MP 2.66) TO S00 FEET SOUTH OF ANDERSON WAY (MP 3.68). LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #02392), FROM 1000 FEET NORTH OF EA GRIDLEY ROAD (MP 4.22) TO 0.35 MILE SOUTH OF ORD RANCH ROAD (MP 4.86}. 2. LARKIN ROAD (COUNTY ROAD #02392), FROM 400 FEET NORTH OF THE BUTTER-BUTTE CANAL (MP 5.73) TO EAST RIO BONITO ROAD/DOS RIOS ROAD ~ {MP 9.48} 3. LARKIN ROAD {COUNTY ROAD #02391), FROM EAST RIO BONITO ROADIDOS RIGS ROAD (MP 0.00} TO THE OROVILLE CITY LIMITS {MP 4.53). 4. EAST GRIDLEY ROAD {COUNTY ROAD #09361}, FROM 1000 FEET EAST OF KIRK ROAD (MP 2.20} TO STATE ROUTE 70 (MP 4.18}. Section 9: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section I0: The Department of Public Works of the County of Butte is hereby directed to erect appropriate signs giving notice of the prima facie speed limit established herein within thirty {30} days after its passage. Section 11: Severability. If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect fhe remaining provisions or other applications of the Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application thereof Section 12: Effective Date and Publication. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its passage. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to publish this Ordinance before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage.
