3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 39 2 ~ OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
S Section 1. Section 69 of Ordinance No. 3921 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFERENCE C,
10 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' MEMBERS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
11 following:
12 Classification Title Class Code Annual Salary
13 Board of Supervisors' Member 240 $30,798
14 and adding thereto the following to be effective 04-15-06:
15 Classification Title Class Code Annual Salary
16 Board of Supervisors' Member 240 $48,OS6
17 Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 60 days from the date of passage,
18 pursuant to Section 25123.5 of the Government Code of the State of California.

1 The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed, before the expiration
2 of fifteen (15) days after its passage, to publish this ordinance in a newspaper in the
3 County of Butte, State of California.
4 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
~ 14th day of February , 2006, bythe following vote:
