HomeMy WebLinkAbout3934E 2 3 4 s b s 9 ko ll k2 13 14 is 16 17 is 19 zo 21 z.z z3 z4 zs z6 z~ zs ,n STATE OF CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 393+ AN DRDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA (VEHICLE CODE SECTION 22358) The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does ordain as follows: Section l : Said Board Ends and determines that upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highway hereinafter described comes within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of Califoxzua, in that the existing unposted speed limit of fifty-five (SS) miles per hour established under Section 22349 (b) of the Vehicle Code of the State of California is more than is reasonable and safe on said highway and determines and declares prima facie speed limits on such Butte County highway as follows: That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 3 5 signs be placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-described County highways to wit: l . Higgins Avenue (043$5-B} -Myers Avenue (MP 0.0) to Larkin Rd (MP 1.02} 2. Nielson Avenue (07375-K) -State Hwy 99 (MP 0.0) to END (MP 0.86} 3. O'Brien Avenue (07375-J) -END (MP 4A) to Larkin Rd (MP 0.9) 4. Wright Avenue (07375-L} -State Hwy 99 {MP 0.0) to END (MP 0.75) Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3: The several features, parts, provisions, sections and terms of this ordir are hereby declared independent and severable and the invalidity, if any, of any feature, part, provision, section or term thereof, shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance, nor render the sarrle inoperative or invalid.
