Purpose. This proposed ordinance amends Section 3-81 in Chapter 3, Fees. It amends Section 3-81 to add a filing fee for processing applications for a Zone within the Countywide Permanent Road Division. Section 2. The ECI used for the calculation is 103.2. Section 3. Authority. This ordinance is enacted pursuant to Government Code Sections 66017(a) and 66016(b), Article I, Section 1 of the Butte County Charter, and Article XI Section 7 of the California Constitution. Section 4. Severability. If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining provisions or other applications of the Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application thereoft Section 5. Effective Date and Publication. This Ordinance shall take effect sixty (60) days after the date of its passage. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to publish this ordinance before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage.
