AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 3
OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
ADJUSTING SPECIFIC GATE FEES CHARGEABLE AT THE
NEAL ROAD SANITARY LANDFILL
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as follows:
Section 1. Section 3-71 of the Butte County Code is amended to read as follows:
ITEMS Disposal Fee
SELF HAUL VEHICLES
Minimum charge per vehicle, up to 667 ibs. net weight MSW $10.00 per vehicle
668-1,150 lbs. net weight MSW $19.55 per vehicle
1,151-1,550 lbs. net weight MSW $26,35 per vehicle
A11 other vehicles over 1,550 lbs. net weight MSW $34.OOlton
COMMERCIAL HAULERS $34.00 /ton
All loads, including construction and demolition debris, bulky items
(excluding tires, bailing wire & stumps)
GREEN WASTE OR WOOD WASTE (Minimum fee) $5.00 for 8001bs. or
Must be free of litter, fixtures, sheetrock, and other contaminants $12.OOIton
CLEAN FILL DIRT No Charge
No contaminants, litter, yard waste, or C&D debris
CLEAN ASPHALT OR CONCRETE No Charge
Na contaminants, rebar, litter or C&D debris
BULKY ITEMS $6.OOlitem
Mattresses, box springs, furniture, carpet, appliances.
Appliances with Freon must be certified as Freon-free.

Section 2, Severability.
If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person o
circumstances is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, sucl
j provision shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining

provisions or other applications of the Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalic
provision or application thereof.
Section 3. Effective Date and Publication.
This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its passage. The Clerk
of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to publish this ordinance before the
expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage. This Ordinance shall be published once, with the
names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it, in the Chiec
Enterprise Record, a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State a
California, on the 10th day of June, 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Yamaguchi, Kirk and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
