AN ORDINANCE AMBrIDING HIITTI~ CO~7NTY CODS SECTION 2-7,66 DI~LBGATINC
INVBST~IESNT AIITHQRITY TO THE BUTTS COUNTY TRSASIIRLR/TAX COLLTiCTQR
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as
follows: '
~ectian ~.~ Section 2-165 of Article XX of Chapter 2 of the Butte
County Code is amended to read as follows:
~-156 Iavestiaaat authority,
The County Treasurer ins hereby delegated the authority far
fiscal year 2411-2012 to invest ar reinvest the funds of
the County and the funds of other depositors in the County
Treasury, pursuant to Chapter 4, (commencing with
Government Code Section 53600) of Part 1 of Division 2 of
Title 5 of the GoverrUttent Cade. The County Treasurer shall
assumE fu7.l responsibility for those transactions until
this delegatian of authority is revoked by ordinance ar
expires at the end of the 2011-2012 fa.scal year.

If any provision of this Ordinance or the applicata,on thereof to
any person ar circumstanoes is far any reaaan held to be invalid by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such pxovxsion shall be deemed
sevErable, and the inva~.a.dity thereof shall oat affect the remaining
provisians ar other applications of the Ordinance which can be given

effect without the invalid prr~vision or applicatian thereaf.
Section 3_, Effec~.~;ve Date,and Publication. This Ordinance shall take
effect thirty (30} days after the date of its passage. The Clerk of
the Baard of Supervisors is authoriza~ and directed to publish this
ordinance before the expiration of fifteen (l.S} days after ita
passage. 'I'hi.s Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of
the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it, in
the Chico Entexprise-Retard, a newspaper o.f general circulation
published in. the County of Butte, State of California.
