2 ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 2
3 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE REDISTRICTING THE
SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICTS IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE

5 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as
6 follows:
7 Section 1. Article IV of Chapter 2 of the Butte Count
g Code is amended to read as follows:

13 Five (5) Supervisorial districts are hereby established
14 within County, follows: which districts are designated an
15 described as follows :

17 SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT NO. 1
18 Beginning at the intersection of State Highway 70 and the
19 centerline of South Honcut Creek, which is also the Butte Count
20 boundary common with Yuba County; thence northerly along said
21 State Highway 70 centerline, 28 . 5 miles, more or less, to the
22 centerline of the West Branch of Lake Oroville also being the
23 centerline of the West Branch of the Feather River in Lake
24 Oroville; thence northerly along said centerline of the West
25 Branch of the Feather River to the south line of Section 32,
26 Township 22 North, Range 4 East, MDM; thence westerly along said
27 south line of Section 32 to the southwest corner of said Section
28 32 : thence northerly along the West line of Sections 32, 29, 20,

I Section 2 . Severability. If any part of this ordinance
2 shall be held void by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
3 part shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity thereof shall
4 not affect the remaining parts of this ordinance.

6 Section 3. Effective Date: Publication. This ordinance
7 shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force an
8 effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its
9 passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) after its
10 passage, this ordinance shall be published once with names of
11 the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against
12 it in the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper published i
13 County of Butte, State of California.

16 County of Butte, State of California, on the 26th day of July,
17 2011, by the following vote:
