AN ORDTNANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS 574 RELATTNG TO THE
REGTSTRATION OF FELONS AND NARCOTIC VIOLATORS
The BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of•the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 57.4, adopted on the 4th day of February,
1957, and relating to the registration of felons and narcotic violators, is
hereby repealed;
2, That this Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of
public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately. The facts
constituting the necessity are that said Ordinance No. 574 will become
effective on the 5th day of March, 1957, and will require the registration of
persons who have rehabilitated themselves, which was not intended.
This Ordinance, before the expiration of fifteen days after its passage,
shall be published with the names of the Supervisors voting for and against
it at least once in the Claico enterprise , a newspaper published in
the County of Butte, State of California.
The foregoing Ordinance was duly adopted and passed by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on the 4th day of
March, 1957, by the following vote:
