2 Wii~REAS, the Public Lirxks Department of the Cour_ty of Butte, by
3 actual survey and count has determined that the highway hereinafter described
4 comes within the provisions of Section 511.3 (b) of the V~+hicle Code of the
$ State of Cali<~'ornia,
g NOj•T, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
7 State of California, do ordain as follows:
$ 1. That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per
9 hour is hereby established on Oroville Dan Boulevard, a County road in the
10 Oroville area of the County of Butte, in accordance with Section 511.3 (b) of
11 the Vehicle Code of the State of California bet~•reen alternate /~0 Highway at
12 its intersection with the South 4testerly end of Oroville D~::Bouleva-rd, thance
13 North Easterly to a point 1100 feet North Easterly of Old Oroville Quincy Road.i
14 2. That 35 MILES PER HOUR speed limit signs be placed at the limits
15 of the zone as designated in paragraph 1 above.
16 3. This Ordinance shall be, and it is hereby declared to be, in
17 full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its
18 passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage this
19 Ordinance shall be Dublished once, with the names of the members of the Board
20 of Supervisors voting for and against it, in the OROViLLE PRESS
21 a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
22 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
23 Butte, State of California, this 1st day of ,_ April , 1957 by
24 the following vote:
