AN ORDINANCE AN~NDIidG ORDIN.~]NCE P10a 586, KNOWN AS THE '~5_ALLARY ORDINANCE"
FOR THE FISCAL REAR 1957-1958
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the .COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
1. That there shall be deleted from the classifications in
Section 3, Sub-section (A)• of Ordinance No. 586, known as the "Salary
Ordinance" of the County of Butte, State of California, for the fiscal
year 1957-1958 the following:
Laboratory and X-ray Supervisor Range 26 (413-513)
Medical Social 4Torker I Range 21 (315-391)
Medical Social ~dorker II Range 23 (351-43b)
Road Maintenance Superintendent Range 29 (486_b05)
Supervising Dietitian Range 27 (436-542)
2. That the salary range of the following classification in
Section 3, Sub-section (A) of said Ordinance, shall be amended to read
as follows:
Assistant Probation Officer Range 27 (436-542)
3. That there shall be added to the classifications in Section
3, Sub-section (A) of said Ordinance, the following;
Associate Director of Nursing Range 2b (413-513)
Dietitian Range 23 (351-436)
Laboratory Supervisor Range 2b (413-513)
Medical Social. Worker Range 27 (436-542}
Public Health Social Worker Range 27 (436-542)
Road Maintenance Engineer Range'32 (573-713)
Sr. Probation Officer Range ?_5 (391-486)
X-ray Supervisor Range 23~ (351-436)
4o That there shall be added to the classifications in Section
3, Sub-section (B) of said Ordinance, the following:
Medical Director and Superintendent X17,000 Yr.
5o That the salary of the following classification in Section
l,. of said Ordinance shall be amended to read as follows:
Constables w4, 200 Yr,
6o This Ordinance shall ta'_~e effect 30 days after the date
of its adoption and shall be operative on and after the 16th day
of September , 1957, and,'before the expiration of 15 days after
its passage shall be published in :the "BZ~O.,~~`Id'EWS , a

newspaper published in said County of Butte,
ADOPTID and PASSID by the BDARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF
BUTTE, State of California, on the 12th day of August ~
1957, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alexander, Black and Kepple
NOES: Supervisors Squires and Chai
