AN INTERIM ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY
OF BUTTES STATE OF CALIF'ORNIAs
ZONING A PORTION OF SAID COUNTYs
REFERRING Ta EXLSTING ORDINANCE
NOS. 475 and 5~2 OF SAID COUNTY
AND DECLARING AN Et~RGENCY
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Buttes State of Californian do
ordain as followsa
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Buttes
State of Californian sha11 be zoned as an sR-1"e Residential Districts as herein-
after described and subject to all of the restricted urea applicable to an ttR-lee
Districts saa.d area so zoned being located i.n the oommunity of Paradises Californian
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the quarter-aorner coon to Seotiona.25 and 30 of
T. 22 N, R, 3E. and T. 22 N, R. l~.E.g thence northerly on said
township line to the quarter-corner cotmmon to Sections 7,3 and 1.8
of said townships; thence easterly along half-seotion 13ne to its
interseotion with the boundarg ]ine of the Paradise Irrigation
Distriot; thence southerly and westerly along said Paradise
Irrigation Distxiitt Boundary to the point of beginning,
SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an ""R-l"' Residential Districts
2.1 Uses Permitteds
1. Single-family dwellings
2. Aocessory buildings
3. The following uses subject to securing a Use Permit
in each easel
a. Golf courses and country clubs.
b. Public and quasi-public uses, including churches, fire houses,
hospitals parks and playgroundss schools and publ.i.c
utility buildings.
c. Private stables
2.2 Building Site Area Required: Eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (Ss125)
sq. ft.
Bm3 Minirmim Buildings Site Width Requireds sixty-five (65) ft.
2.y. Front Yard Requireds Twenty-five (25) ft.
2.5 Six (6) feels unless building site is less than sixty (60) ft. in
widths in which case side yards equal to ten (10) percent of such
widths but not less than five (5) ft. shall be required,
SECTION 3. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed upon said
district sha11 be as provided in the said Zoning Enabling Ordinance.

SECTION ~.. The ordinance shall bes and it is hereby declared to be i.n full
force and effect from and after the date of its passages pursuant to the emergency
hereinafter found and declared; and it shall remain i.n full force and effect until
such time as a permanent ordinance covering the above-described area shall take
effect following notices public hearingss and other procedures as are provided in
said Zoning Enabling Ordinances or until such time as the Board of Supervisors shall
determine that the said area shall not be zoned as an TMR-1TM District.
SECTION 5. For the mediate preservation of the public peaces health and safety
of the area hereinabove describeds and the residents and inhabitants thereofs it is
necessary that this ordinance take effect immediately. A declaration of the facts
constituting the necessity therefor is as followas
The adoption of such Interim Zoning P]an is necessary in the public interests
to maintain the status quo in such distrlat pending the deteivdnation of the
application for such permanent detail zoning.
SECTION 6. This emergency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be
pub].~shed once with the names of all members voting for and against the sames in

ADOPTED and PASSED by the Bo d of Supervisors of the County of Buttes State of
