AN ORD1i~iANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LINilTS ON COUNTY R0.2D 4JITHItd THE OROVILLE
AREA, IiQ THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, S^1 ATE OF CALIFORATIA
(Vehicle Code Section $11.3)
TIT~E BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CAS.IFORNIA,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOTrdS:
1. That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour ,
is hereby established upon Palermo Road in the Oroville area, County of Butte;
provided, however, that upon a certain road in said area, as specified in
Section 3 hereof, the prima fae~e speed limit shall be 2$ miles per hour.
2. That SPEED LINffT 3$ NffLES signs be placed at the following locations:
(a) Palermo Road at Virginia Street.
(b) Palermo Road at V3 Road.
3. That a prima facie speed limit of twenty-five (2$) miles per hour is
hereby established upon the following road in the Oroville area, County of Butt
4. That SPEED LIHST 25 P'iILES signs be placed at the following locations:
(a) Palermo Road at intersection of Baggett-Marysville Road.
(b) Palermo Road at intersection o£ Virginia Street.
$. This Ordinance shall be, and it is hereby declared to be, in full
force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage,
and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage this Ordinance
shall be published once, with the names of the members/ of` the/ B/~o~ard of Super-
visors voting for and against it, in the f~v~-- V/Le..~i1-~ ,
a neraspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Hoard of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
