6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,~State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. x.75 oz said County
7 b eing the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by
Ordinance No. 522, DO ORDAIN AS F'ULLOWS:.

Secti n 1. The herei aft r dESCribed area situate in the
.9 County of ~utte, State of ~Gali~ornia, shall be, and it is hereby,
zoned as an 'TR-1" (Residential) District as hereinafter described
1U and subject to all of the restricted uses applicable to the uses
of an "R-1" District, said area so zoned being located South of
I.11 the City of Oroville, California, particularly described as
follows:
Z2 The Hill 'N Dale Subdivision, Oroville, California,
as shown on that certain reap or plat thereof on file
I3 and of record in the office of the County Recorder
of Butte County, California, in Bo°bk 17 of Niaps at

';fig Section 2. The following regulations shall apply in an
"R-1" District:
16 2.1 Uses Permitted
~.). One-family dwellings
', 17 2). Accessory buildings
3). The following uses subject to securing a use
18 permit in each case:
ae Golf courses and country clubs
b. Public and quasi-public uses including
!'19 churches, f7.re houses, hospitals, parks
and playgrounds, schools, and public

;; c. Private stables
21 2.2 Building Site Area Required:
22 Eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (8125) square
feet.
2.3 i~Iinimum Building Site. 4'didth Required: Sixty-five
23 (65) feet.
i24 2.1~ Front Yard Required: Twenty-five (25} feet.
2.5 Side Yards Required:
i,-25 Six (6} feet, unless building .site is less than sixty
{60) feet in width, in which case `side yards equal to
'2B ten percent of such width but not less than five (5)
feet shall be required.
~~7 Section 3. A11 uses of land within the district not spe-
,;~$ cifically authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibited.
''fig Section 4~ Penalties for any violation of the Zoning hereby
imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning
';~Q Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall, from and after
.~1 its effective date, become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance.

Section 5o This ordinance shall be ,and~it is hereby declared
to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days
after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen { 15) days after its passage this ordinance shall be pub-
lished once with the names of the members voting for and against,
in the 0R0VILLET4~tCURY , a newspaper published in the County
of Butte, State of California.
