!3 ORDINANCE OFFERING REWARD AND PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT
THEREOF FOR ARREST AND CONVICTION OT' ANY PERSON
4 VIOLATING SECTION 374b OF THE PENAL CODE

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California
`7 do ordain as follows:
:8 1. That the County of Butte hereby offers a reward of FIFTY
9 DOLLARS ($50, 00) for the giving of information leading to the arrest and con-
10 viction of any person for a violation of Section 374b of the Penal Code of the
1:1 State of California,
12 2. Such reward shall be paid upon order of the Board of Supervisor;
13 of the County of Butte, upon and after recommendation for such payment by
T4 the District Attorney of the County of Butte,
1;5 3, This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date
16 of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage
].7 and adoption, it shall be published once with the names of the members voting
]s8 for and against the same in GRIDLEY HERALD , a newspaper
19 published in said County of Butte,
20 The foregoing Ordinance was duly adopted and passed by the Board
2I of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on the -3rd day of
22 February, 1958, by the following vote:
23 AYES: ,Supervisors Black, Huggins, Kepple, Pryde and Chairmen Alexand
24 NOES: None
25 ABSENT: None
