HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-006I[~ ~ ~ PLEASANT VALLEY DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT r ~ ~y~~~ RESOLUTION 0~' INTENTION TO ORDER CHANGES IN ~.. ~ 'r ~. f~APR{~;TT 3I~.~vsES, Ccu~tyC~TRICT BOUNDARIES AND IMPROVEi N~ENT PROCEEDINGS [LER1i OP TH6 COARD OF SLP£R4160:iS °~~`OLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that in its opinion the public interest and convenience require, and that it is the intention of said Board of Supervisors to order the following CHANGE be made in the bond pro- visions described in the Resolution of Intention- Pleasant Va11ey Drainage Assessment District passed and adopted by this Board on June 6, 1960, to wit: That the redemption provisions of said bonds shall provide a prerriiurri of five percent (5°fo) of unpaid principal if redeemed before maturity, that the Change aforesaid shall be made in accordance with the Improvement Act of 1911, as amended. That the serial. bonds shall be issued in the form as herein changed for the same time and in the same manner described in the Resolution of Intention-Pleasant Valley Drainage Assessment District passed and adopted by this Board June 6, 1960, to represent the total costs of the works of improvement described in said Resolution of Intention. RESOLVED, further by the Board of Supervisors, for the County of Butte, State of California, that in its opinion the public interest and convenience require, and that it is the intention of said Board of Supervisors to order the change of the boundaries of the Pleasant Valley Drainage Assessment District by adding thereto the following described property, to wit: A11 that certain real property situate in the County of"Butte,"Stake of California; described as"followsf A~porton of that certain tract known"as the'H.B'-. Reed Ranch lying in Rancho Arropo`Chico, mare particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point which-lies at the inter= section of tkieSoutherly 1ine~ of Burnap Avenue and the centerline 'of`Cohasset Road• thence South'00~36+ East along the`center~ine of Cohasset Road, 50~.1~2 feet to a point, thence leaving said centerline of Cohasset Road, South $9~21~~ West, 56~.,~.6 feet to a point; thence -1- North 1$~21~t V7est, 302.19 feet to a point on ~~~~ the Southerly line of the Hobart Subdivision; thence North 71~1$~ East, along said Southerly line of the Hobart Subdivision ahd its production being the Southerly line of Burnap Avenue, 692.52 feet to the Point of Beginning, and containing 5.66 acres, more or less. That this Board hereby determines that in its judgment the parcel of land herein described and which land this board intends to include within said district will be benefited by the works of improvement described in said Resolution of Intention- Pleasant Valley Drainage Assessment District. That it is the intention of this Board to assess the cost of the work described in Resolution of Intention-Pleasant Valley Drainage Assessment District, adopted June 6, 1960, on a district of lands. That the boundaries, of said district, and the extent of the territory included therein and to be so assessed are shown on the amended map of Pleasant Valley Drainage Assessment District, passed and adopted by this Board of Supervisors, April 17, 1961. That said amended map is now an file in the office of the Clerk of this Board, and this Board hereby refers to said amended map and description, and to the Resolution Approving said amended map for a particular description of the boundaries of said district and the extent of the territory included in said district and that this Board hereby declares that the area of all public highways, streets, roads, included in said district, is excepted from said district. That this Board hereby finds that there will be no increase or decrease in the cost of said improvement work by reason of said proposed Changes, hereinabove described. THAT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the $thday of PfaY , 1961, at the hour of 11:00 otclock A.M., in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, in the Court House in the City of Oroville in said County, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to or protests against said CHANGES herein described may file written protests in the - 2- ~~~s office of the Clerk of this Board at any time not later than the time fixed for hearing such protests, at which time any and all persons so protesting wi11 be heard by this Board, and may shova cause why said CHANGES should not be ordered. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause this Resolution to be published once in the time required by law in the Chico Enter- prise Record, a daily newspaper published and circulated in said County of Butte, State of California PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, this 1'7th day of A ril , 1861, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: SUPERVTSORS Alldredge, Dittman, ~ryde, ~teinegger and and Chairman Giles NOES: SUPERVISORS None ABSENT ; SUPERVISORS None ~ ~~~ C airm n of the Board of Supervisors ATTEST: HARRIETT JAMES ~^ COUNTY CLERK Depot -3-
