~ RESOLUTION AND ORDER FOR 7~ISCONTINUANCE
OF COUNTY SERVICE A1~EA NO. 2

S BE IT .RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
7 of the COUNTY OF BUTTE of the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as. follows:
8 1. That County Service Area No. 2 of the County of
9 Butte heretofore established under Chapter 2,2, Part 2,
10 Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State of
11 California, is hereby discontinued, and that the effective date
I2 of the discontinuance and termination of said County Service Area
13 No. 2 is the 30th day of June, 1961.
I4 2. That any unencumbered funds standing to the credit
15 of said County Service Area No. 2 at the time of discontinuance
16 and in the County Treasury shall be transferred to the General
17 .Fund of the County of Butte.
18 3. That said County Service Area No. 2 that is herein
19 discontinued and terminated, is situated in the unincorporated
20 areas of the County of Butte, and its boundaries are described
21 as follows, to wit:
22 A portion of the Thomason Subdivision, recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder, of the County of
23 Butte, State of California, June 1, 1946 in Boo]c 14
of Maps at Page 36 and a portion of the 'Southwest
24 quarter of Section 11, T. 22 N., R. 3 E., M.D.B.&M.,
more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 31 of said
26 Thomason Subdivision; thence Westerly along the
27 Southerly boundary of said Thomason subdivision to
the Southwest corner of Lot 25; thence Northerly
28 along the Westerly boundary of said Lot 25 209.12
feet; thence westerly parallel to the said Southerly
29 boundary to the Westerly boundary of said Thomason
Subdivision; thence Northerly along said Westerly
30 boundary to a point 208.67 feet Southerly from the
Northwest corner of Lot 23 of said Thomason Subdivision;
31 thence Easterly parallel with the Northerly boundary
of said Lot 23 to the Easterly boundary of said Lot 23;
32 thence Northerly along said Easterly boundary of said
Lot 23 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 23; thence

in a straight line to the Northeast earner of Lot 13 of
said Thomasson Subdivision; thence Southerly along said
Easterly boundaxy to the Northerly line of the Skyway
(Neal Road}; thence in a straight line to the Northwest
corner of that certain parcel of land deeded from ~Iernon
P. Craig et ux to Joseph A. Nugent et ux and recorded
in said Recorder's Office, February 14, 194'7, in Book
395 Official Records at Page 355; thence along the
Northerly boundaxy of said parcel to the North and
South center line of said Section 11; thence S. 00°
13' E. Along said North and South center line 225.6
feet; thence S. 89° 47' W. -90.00 feet; thence S. 0°
13' W. -30.00 feet; tl3ence S. 32° 02' W. -103.6
feet; thence S. 89° 47' W. -499.9 feet more or Less
to the center line of the Skyway (Neal Road}; thence
in a straight lane to the Southeast corner of Lot 32
of said Thomasson Subdivision; thence along the
Southerly boundary of said Lot 32 to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 32; thence Southerly along the
Easterly boundary of Lot 31 of said Thomasson Sub-
division to the point of beginning.
The foregoing resolution and order was introduced by
Supervisor S`te3negg~er . who moved its adoption, seconded by
Supervisor ~ P,c~de and said resolution and order was
passed this 1 th day of May, 1961, on tall call by the
following vote:
