~ COUNTY'' OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ':ADOPTING PRELIMINARY BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL .YEAR 1961,-1962
5 (GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 29 000 et seq.
B BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE,
7 STATE OF CALIFORNIA., as follows:
8 1. That the tabulation of an expenditure program for the fiscal year
9 1961-1962 and presently entitled "Proposed Budget" has been presented by the
10 Auditor to the Clerk of this Board, which tabulation has been reviewed and
11 revised under the direction of this Board, and now conforms to its judgment as
12 a proper preliminary financial program for said fiscal year and is hereby
1.3 adopted as the "Preliminary Budget of the County of Butte for the Fiscal Year
II'4 1961-1~2 • " _.
15 2. Said "Preliminary Budget" shall be reproduced in full in pamphlet
I6 form and sufficient number of said Budget Pamphlet shall be provided so that
17 each taxpayer who desires may obtain one, and a copy shall immediately be for-
Zg warded to the State Controller by the Auditor.
lg 3. The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith publish a notice once in
20 a newspaper of general circulation stating that:
;~1 (a) The "Preliminary Budget" pamphlets are available to taxpayers

22 requesting them, on aril after the~lst day of June, 1961.
23 (b) That this Board of Supervisors will meet at 11:OOA.M. on Monday,
24 the day of ;J'u1,y ~ , 1861 in the Board of Supervisors Room in
2g the Court House on Huntoon Street, in the City of Orovi]1e, County of Butte,
26 State of California, for the purpose of fixing the final budget and any taxpayer
', 2q may appear thereat and be heard regarding the increase, decrease, or omission
28 of any item of the Budget or for the inclusion of additional items, all. in

2g, accordance with Section 2q,074 of the Government Code of the State of California.
30 The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pr,~'de ,
31 who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Pittman ,
32 and said Resolution was passed this 15th day of May, 1961, on ro11 call by the
