'; !'~} RESOLUTION THAT PUBLIC HEARING IS NOT NECESSARY IN RE
STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 3 BETWEEN 3.4 A~fILES NORTH

WHEREAS, the California Highway Commission has before it for con-

sideration the matter of the relocation and improvement as a freeway of a

portion of State Highway Route 3 between 3.~+ miles north of Chico and the

Tehama County line; and

WHEREAS, said California Highway Commission has requested this Board

to advise it as to whether in its opinion a public hearing in this matter is

necessary; and

WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Board that a public hearing in
14
this matter is not necessary inasmuch as all facts pertaining thereto were
15
presented at a hearing heretofore held at the Shasta Union School House;

' j: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID by the Board of Supervisors of the
x'17 County of Butte, State of Cali~€'ornia, as fo]~.ows:
~~$ 1. That in the opinion of this Board, a further public hearing in

the matter of the relocation and improvement as a freeway of a portion of State
20 Highway Route 3 between 3.4 miles North of Chico and the Tehama County line

is not necessary.
'22 2. That the Clerk of this Board transmit to the California Highway

California, two (2) certified copies of this Resolution.
