BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COURTTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CAZIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ADOPTING EXPENDTTURES FOR FINAL BUDGET
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1961-1962
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, has heretofore set the time and place for
hearing and fixing the final budget as on Monday, the 10th day of
July, 1961, a.n the Board of Supervisorst Room in the Butte County
Court House, Oroville, California; and
tai-IEREAS, said hearing was continued from day to day and concluded
on the date hereof; and
WHEREAS, such increases or additions that were proposed in
writing and filed with said Board before the close of said budget
hearings were considered by said Board;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte, State of California, that the appropriations
now contained in the preliminary budget as revised by the Board at
the public hearing are hereby declared adopted and the various appropria-
tions therein specified are as fo]1ows:
(a) Appropriations:
1. By General Classes for:
{A) Salaries and Wages $ 3,569,993
{B) Maintenance & Operation $ 8,465,403
{C) Capital Outlay, Equipment $ 189,629
{D) Interest and debt redemption $ -0-

Dear Herb:
Enclosed please find copy of letter to Oroville Title
Company, dated July 18, 1961, which is self-explanatory.
Also enclosed is a cashier's check, dated May 25, 1961, in the
sum of $480.50, for deposit in the Treasury of County of Butte,
as part of the purchase price mentioned in said letter.
The balance of said purchase price will be payable in accordance
with said letter.

2. Certified copy of Resolution, Accepting Hid
authorizing execution of said deed.
The total amount bid by the purchasers was the sum of
$x,805.00. The County o~ Butts has their cashier's check in
the sum of $480.50, paid at the time of bid, an8, therefore,
. purchasers will deposit with you the sum of $4,324.50, and when
this is in your possession and in a position to be paid to the
County of Butte, will you please do the followings
1. Record Resolution at coat of County.
2. Issue your policy of title insurance to purchasers
in the amount of the purchase pxice, premium to be paid by County.
3. Deliver deed to purchasers, or record it at their ~
expense, and deliver to them policy of title insurance,
4. You may bi11 the County for all expenses in
.accordance with your contract with County.
5. The balance of purchase price shall be paid to
County of Butte, in care of the Department of Public FnTaxks, for
delivery. to the Auditor and deposit in the County Treasury.
