BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
• RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREENfENT BETWEEAT
COUNTY OF BUTTE AND WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY IN 'RE KUSEL ROAD
WHEREAS, COUNTX OF BUTTE desires to realign the County Road
known as Kusel Road where it intersects with the County Road known as'.
Baggett-Palermo Road at grade south of the City of Orovi].le; and:
WHEREAS, said realignment calls for a grade separation at the
crossing by Kusel Road of the Western Pacific Railroad Company's railway
tracks;
NObP, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of
the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby approves that certain indenture made the
31st day of July , 19b1, by and between WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY and COUNTY OF BUTTE, wherein an easement is to be granted to the
COUNTY OF BUTTE for the aforementioned road and the abandonment of CPUC
Crossing No. 4-201.7
2. The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute said
indenture, his signature to be attested by the Clerk of this Board and
acknowledged.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be attached by the
Clerk of said Board to said indenture and the required copies thereof.
TH.E FOREGOING RESOLUTION was introduced by Supervisor . Pr.Vde
who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Pittman , and
said Resolution was adopted and passed this 31st day of July
1961, upon roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Pithnan, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman Giles
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
