HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-0700 RESOLUTION No. ~61-70__ _ ~~~~ HILL-n-DALE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND IivIPROVEI~iENT PROCEEDINGS RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that in its opinion, the public interest and con- venience require, and that it is the intention of s$id Board of Super- visors to Order the following additions to the work and improvement described in the Resolution of Intention, Hill-n-Dale Assessment District, passed and adopted by this Board on October 31, 196x. That said changes aforesaid consist of constructing b0 feet of concrete roll curb and gutter along Arnold Avenue, on the northerly line of Lot 25, of Hi 11-n-Dale Subdivision, Unit No. 1, which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, November $, 191+$, in Map Book 17, at pages 3 and ~.. RESOLVED further, that it is the intention of this Board that the boundaries of Hill-n-Dale Assessment district be changed to include Lot 25, of Hill-n-Dale Subdivision, Unit No. 1, which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of Butte County in Map Book 17, at pages 3 and 1~., and is located in the County of Butte, State of California. That this Board hereby determines that in its judgment the parcel of land herein described and which land this Board intends to include within said district will be benefited by the works of improvement described in said Resolution of Intention, Hill-n-Dale Assessment District, as said works of improvement may be hereinafter lawfully changed. That it is the intention of this Board to assess the cost of the work described in Resolution of Intention, Hill-n-Dale Assessment District, adopted October 31, 1960, together with the additional work hereinabove set forth, an a district of lands. -1- D HAR~IETT JAfs~ES, CoRntYClerk ~ R OF TH8 BOA~2D 0 UPERVLSO 6Y~~ _ _ ., _ _~__. ~~ B ~ That the boundaries, of said district, and the extent of the territory included therein and to be so assessed are shown on the amended map of Hill-n-Dale Assessment District, passed and adopted by this Board of //Supervisors, on August 2$, 1961, by Resolution No. EC ~ -'fo ~ , and on any lands hereinafter law- fully included in said District. That said amended map is now on file in the office of the Clark of this Board, and this Board hereby refers to said amended map and description, and to the Resolution Approving said amended map for a particular description of the boundaries of said district and the extent of the territory included in said district and that this Board hereby declares that the area of all public highways, streets, roads, included in said district, is excepted from said district. That this Board hereby finds that the increase in the cost of said improvement work by reason of said proposed Changes in work hereinabove described will be the sum of X120.00, The Changes in boundaries of said District will neither increase or decrease the cost of improvement. That serial bonds shall be issued in the form and manner described in the Resolution of Intention, Hill--n-Axle Assessment District passed and adopted October 31, 1960, to represent the total costs of the works of improvement described in said Resolution of Intention and the Changes and additions provided for herein. THAT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 1$th, dap of September, 1961, at the hour of 11:00 ofclock A.M., in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, in the Court House in the City of Oroville in said County, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and whore any and all persons having any objections to, or protests against said Changes herein described, may file written protests in the office of the Clerk of this Board at any time not later than the time fixed for hearing such protests, at which time any and all persons so protesting will be heard by this Board, and may show cause why said Changes should not be ordered. - 2- ~~ That the Glerk of this Board shall cause this Resolution to be published once, in the tame required by law, in the OROVILLE MERCURY REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated in said County of Butte, State of California.
