COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
ALFRED J. HAILPARN
WHEREAS, ALFRED J. HAILPARN died in Chico, Butte County,
California, on the 9th day of September, 1961; and
WHEREAS, ALFRED J. HAILPARN was, at the time of his
death, the Director of Welfare of the County of Butte, having
served in such capacity since the 1st day of January, 1959,
in a manner endearing him to the people of Butte County; and
WHEREAS, ALFRED J. HATLPARN prior to his service with
the County of Butte had devoted many years of his life to
public service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby expresses its appreciation
for the outstanding services rendered by Alfred J. Hailparn
to the County of Butte as Director of Welfare and for his
many services, prior to his connection with the County of
Butte, rendered to federal, state and local agencies.
2. That the condolences of this Board be extended to
HELEN HAILPARN, and to MICHAEL HAILPARN, and to all other
members of said decedent's family.
3. That the regular meeting of this Board held on the
18th day of September, 1961, be adjourned in memory of ALFRED
J. HAILPARN.

HAILPARN.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
Pryde who moved its adoption, seconded by

Supervisor Alldredge and said Resolution was
adopted and padded this 18th day of September, 1961, upon
roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Pittman, Pryde, Steinegger and
Chairman Giles
