4 RESOLUTION TN RE PRIVATE PRACTICE PERMITTED BY
DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEYS AFTER JANUARY 1963.

,:8 WHEREAS, the District Attorney of the County of•Butte,
7 after January, 1963, will be a full time District Attorney,
$ devoting his entire time to the duties of said office; and
9 WHEREAS, the present District Attorney has requested
1.0 of this Board the establishment of a policy in relation to the
11 Deputy District Attorneys to serve under said full time District
12 Attorney;
13 NOW, THEREFOREa. BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPER-
14 VISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTEr STATE OF Ce"~LIFORNIA, as follows:
`15 1. That subsequent to January 1, 1963, Deputy District
16 Attorneys of the County of Butte shall. be permitted to have private
1~ practice upon the following terms-and conditions:
18 {a} All preparation work and interviews shall be
19 done outside the office of the District Attorney and not during
20 working hours of the office of the District Attorney.
21 {b} County equipment and supplies are not to be
22 used in private practice.
23 (c} Court appearances on private matters will be
24 permitted during working hours in noncontested matters only.
2B 2. That copies of this Resolution be furnished the
26 present District Attorney and all canda.dates for the office of
27 District Attorney at the general election to be held in 1962.
2$ The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
29 Stein~gger who moved its adoption, seconded by
30 Supervisor Pitman and said Resolution was passed
31 this 25tY~ day of September, 1961, on roll call by the following
