BETWEEN 3.6 Miles ldorth of Chico
AND Tehama County Line
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been presented covering the
construction and maintenance of a freeway on roan III-But-3-D
between 3.C> Miles North of Chico and Tehama County Dine
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors-has heard read said
Agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THERES~ORE, be it resolved by the Hoard of Supervisors
of the County of Butte that said Agreement is hereby approved and
Supervisor; ,,_~ _-_- is directed to sign
the same in behalf of the County of Butte.

3. The County will accept control and maintenance over
each of the relocated or reconstructed County roads and the frontage
roads and other State constructed 1oca1 roads on notice to the
County Road Commissioner from the State that the work thereon has
been completed, except as to any portion thereof which is adopted
by the State as a part of the freeway proper. The County will also
accept title to the portions of such roads ~.ying outside the freeway
limits, upon relinquishment by the State.
~. The Mate agrees to acquire all necessary right of
way as may be required for construction, reconstruction or alteration
of County roads and frontage roads, and the County hereby authorizes
the State to acquire in its behalf all such necessary right of way.
~, This agreement may be modified at any time by the
mutual consent of the parties hereto, as may become necessary for
the best accomplishment through State and County cooperation of the
whole freeway project for the benef it of the people of the State
and of the County.
