RESOLUTION~ACCEPTING IN FULL 3~PPORTIONMENT TO COUNTY
OF BUTTE OF FEDERAL-AID SECONDARY AND ST,i~iTE HIGH4JAY FNATCHING
FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Tn7orks, of the State of
California, has notified the County of Butte that under the
California Secondary Highway a'~ct of 1951, as amended, the follow-
ing funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, are
apportioned to Butte County:
Federal mid Secondary Funds - $160,004
State Highway Matching Funds- $100,000
and
WHEREAS the County of Butte desires to accept and match
said funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARA OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
la That County wishes to claim and utilize the entire amount
of `Federal mid Secondary Funds apportioned to County, to wit,
the sum of $160,004, and the entire amount of State Highway
Matching Funds apportioned to said County, to wit, the sum of
$100,000;
~i{hat County hereby agrees to provide matching funds therefor
as may be necessary and required to complete the financing of
County`s FoA,So projects;
That this Resolution is made in compliance with Section
2211 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
and the Clerk of this Board is authorized to forward three
certified copies hereof to the District Engineer of the
Aepartment of Public Works of the State of California.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pryde
who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Alldredge
