BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NOo 613
AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SALARY FOR CERTAIN
ELECTIVE OFFICERS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
FOR THE TERM BEGINNING AS OF 12:00 NOON ON TI3E
FIRS:~T MONDAY OF JANUARY, 1959.
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the following elective officers of the County of Butte, shall
receive annual salaries as hereinafter set forth, which said salaries shall
begin as of 12:00 Noon on the first Monday in January, 1959, as follows:
Officer Annual Salary
Sheriff and Coroner $8, 400.00
Clerk $6, 900, 00
Treasurer and Tax Collector $6, 900, 00
Recorder $6, 600.00
Assessor $7, 500, 00
2, This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of
its adoption and shall be operative on and after 12:00 Noon of the first Monday
in January, 1959, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its
passage shall be published fln:c,e in the PARADISE POST
a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California, together
with the names of the members voting for and against said Ordinance.
ADOPTED AND PASSED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 24th day of February, 1958.
