AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOS. 4'75 AND 522
OF SAID COUNTY
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 4.75 of said County
as amended by Ordinance No. 522, do ordain as followso
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County •
of Butte, State of California, shall be, and it is~hereby zoned as an
°oM-1°P (sight Tndustrial) District, as hereinafter described and
subject to all~of the restricted uses applicable to the uses of an
°PM-1Y4 District, said area so zoned being located
South of the City of Chico, known as the
McGowan Tndustrial Tract , More particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of U. S. Highway 99E and the
center line of Edgar Slough; thence northerly along said line of U. S. Highway 99E
to its intersection with the South line of Centerville Road .(Humbug Road);. thence
westerly along said south line of Centerville Road to its intersection with the
Range line common to T. 21 N. R. 1 E. and T. 21 N. R. 2 E; thence southerly along
said range line to its intersection with the center line of Edgar Slough; thence
Easterly and irregularly along said center line of Edgar Slough to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an °1M--1°t
Districto
2.1 Uses Permittedo
l.} Any use permitted in °PC-1°' or 4°C-2P° Districts.
2.) Animal hospitals; auto repair shops, auto sales,.
service stations, drive-in dancing academies or
halls, open air retail and wholesale sales,
drive-in restaurants, theaters, pet shops,
wholesale stores or storage, laundries,-launder-
ettes, undertaking establishments,- used car sales,
used or secondhand goods, bulk storage of oil
and gasoline.
3.) Bottling works, carpenter shops, contractor•yards,
lumber yards, plumbing shops, welding shops, elec-
tric transmission sub-stations and service yards.

SECTION 3a All uses of land within the District not specifically
authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibitedo
SECTION 4•e Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby im-
posed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling
Ordinanceo In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling
Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date
become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinances
SECTION 5o In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning
Enabling Ordinance the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 5
thereof this ordinance in Tulle

SECTION 6o This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared
to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days-
after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once
with `he names of t}~ e members voting for and against it, in the -
~~ ~~ ~^-~t ~ a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California,
