OR~f3ER OF ANNEXATION OF NONCONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE RICH~7ALE
S~TITARY DISTRICT (SECTIONS 6885 to 6887, HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE)

WHEREAS, the governing board of RICHVALE SANITARY

DISTRICT has petitioned the Board of Supervisors of the County
'4
of Butte, State of California, for the annexation of the
5
hereinafter described noncontiguous territory; and

WHEREAS, said petition alleges, and this Board finds,
'7
that the proceedings taken by the governing board~of the
8
RICHVALE SANITARY DISTRICT are according to the statutes and
,9
laws providing for such annexation, being Sections 5885 to 6887

inclusive.

NOW, THEREFOREA IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the BOARD OF

SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as
13
follows:

1. That the boundaries of the RICHVALE SANITARY
15
DISTRICT, Butte County, California, are hereby altered by the
16
annexation of the hereinafter described noncontiguous territory,
17
to wit:

PARCEL 1°
~g All that certain real property situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, more
'20 particularly described as follows, to wit:
'2~ A portion of Lot 21, according to the official
map of Richvale Colony $~l, as filed in'.:the office
22 of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of
California, September 20, 1909, in Book 6 of Maps
23 at page 92, and being more particularly described
as follows:
!24 Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly
line of Eucalyptus. Avenue with the Southerly line
'; 2g of Lofgren Avenue in said Lot 21, from which the
Northeast corner of Lot 21 at the intersection of
26 the center lines of said Avenues bears North 45°
45' East 45.70 feet; thence along the westerly
27 line of Eucalyptus Avenue South 0° 39' West
161.0 feet; thence North 89° 09' West 210.0 feet;
2g thence North 0° 34' East 161.0 feet to the Southerly
line of Lofgren Avenue;~thence along said line
2g South 89° 09' East 210,0 feet to the Point of
Beginning, containing 0.78 acres, more or less.

of Butte, State of California, described as

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 28
4 in the center of Eucalyptus Avenue and running
thence West along the North line of said Lot 28
5 a distance of 300.00 feet to an iron pipe; thence
South and parallel to the East line of said Lot
6 28 a distance of 355.0 feet to an iron pipe;
thence East and parallel to the North Line of said
7 Lot 28 a distance of 300.0 feet to the East line
of said Lot 28 and the center of said Eucalyptus
g Avenue; thence along last mentioned lines North
355.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing
g 2,44 acres,
10 2. What said territory heretofore described shall
11 henceforth be a part of the RICHVALE SANITARY DISTRICT, Butte
12 County, California.
13 3. That the Clerk of this Board file a statement and
14 map with the Assessor and the State Board of Equalization as
15 required by Section 54902 of the Government Code.
16 The foregoing Order was made at a regular meeting
17 of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
18 California, held on the 8th day of January, 1962, by the
