BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OE' BUTTES STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND NOTICE DECLARING INTENTION
TO SELL, REAL PROPERTY (Government Code
Section 25526, et seq.}
BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as .follows:
1. That said Board hereby declares that it intends to se
that certain real property situate in the.County of Butte, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:
Lot 26, Block No. 2, as shown on that certain map
entitled "Map of Sterling City", which map was
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
Butte County on August 3, 1903, in Book 4 of Maps,
at page 33.
2. That the terms and conditions of said sale are as
follows;
(a) That the minimum price that will be acceptable
for the said parcel of real property is $100.00.
(b) That the purchase of said real property is to be
paid in cash, as follows: 10% thereof to accompany bid and
balance upon the final acceptance by the Board of Supervisors
and the delivery of the deed to said real property.
(c) That the form of conveyance shall be a Quit Claim
Deed, provided; however, if at the option of the bidder a Grant
Deed is desired, said bidder shall pay the cost of title insurance.
3. That Monday, the 26th day of March, 1962, at 11:00
A.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the time at which the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, at a meeting of said
Board, will receive sealed proposals to purchase said real proper
and will consider said sealed proposals, and the place of said
meeting will be in the Supervisors' Room of the Court House,
situate on Huntoon street, in the City of Oroville, County of

4. That no commission will be paid to any licensed real
estate broker.
5. That notice of the adoption of this resolution and the
time and place of holding the meeting to consider sealed
proposals for the purchase of said real property shall be given
by posting a copy of this resolution, signed by the Chairman of
the Board, in three (3) public places in the County not less than
fifteen (15) days before the date of the meeting, and by publish-
ing the notice an the County pursuant to Section 6063 of the
Government Code, to wit,. once a week for three (3} successive
weeks.
6. At the time and place fixed herein fox the meeting to
consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property;
the highest qualifying bid will be accepted, unless upon a call
for oral bids, such oral bads shall exceed by at least 5/ the
highest written proposal.
7. The Board of Supervisors shall consider written
proposals and oral bids separately and reserve the right to
accept or reject all written proposals and/or oral badso
8. The foregoing resolution was duly adopted and passed
at a regular open meeting of said Board held on tk~e 5th day of
March, 1962, on roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredge
