BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND ORDER CHANGING NAMES OF COUNTY
HIGHWAYS IN BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS the Board of Sgpervisors of the County of Butte:.
heretofore passed a Resolution of Intention to Change Names of
certain County Highways situate in Butte County, California,
which said Resolution of.Ix~t~ntion was dated the 19th day of
February, 1962; and
WHEREAS said Resolution of Intention designated Monday,
the 19th day o~ March, 1962 at ten o'clock of said day, in the
Supervisors' Room in the Sutte County Court House fronting on
Huntoon Street in the City of Oroville, State of California, as
the time and place of hearing thereof; and
WHEREAS said hearing was prope~cly noticed and held, and
upon said hearing the Board considered the proposal to change
the names of certain County Highways as stated in the Resolution
of Intention to change names of certain County Highways and heard
any and all objections thereto and said Board finds! that said
proposed changes of names of County Highways are in the best
interest of the County;
NOWT THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the BOARI] OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE+ STATE OF CALIFORNIAB as
follows:
That the names of the folbwing County Highways situated in
Butte County, California, be changed as followsz
Present Name New Name
(1) V-~ Road Las Plumas Ave.
(2) V-3 Road Monte Vista Ave.
(3) Oroville-Nelson
and Nelson Ave. Cherokee Road
The foregoing Resolution and order was introduced by

Supervisor T Prude , who moved its adoption,
seconded by Supervisor Steine~ger , and said
Resolution and Order was duly passed at a regular meeting of the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, held on the 26th
day of March, 1962, on roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittanan, Prude, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredge
