That the hereinafter descried real property is not required for County use. ii ~~ 2. That the State of California, by and through the Sacra- mento and San Joaquin Drainage District, a public agenc~T, desires to acquire an easement and rights of way over, across, and upon said real property to be used by said draina;e district for general rnain- ten.ance of the flood control project of Big Chico Creek. 30 7.'hat the Board of Supervisors of .the County of Butte ,; at;~1:00 a.rn., on the 9th day of April 1962, or as soon thereafter as th'ebusiness of said Board will permit, in the Board of Supervisors Rohm, in the Court House, fronting on Huntoon Street, Oroville, California, cai11 consider the quitclaim, conveyance and~or grant of rights of way and easements over, across, and upon the hereinafter de- se'rbed real property to the Sacramento and San Joaquin Drainage District, a oiiblic agency of the State of California, and any person interested therein may appear at said tine and place and be heard. 4. That a copy of this Resolution shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the County of Butte, for !j at Least one week prior to the tune set herein for consideration by the Board of said quitclaim, grant and~or conveyanceo ;: 5. That said real property is situate in the County of Bute, State oz" Cali~"ornia, more particularly described as follows: A11 that certain parcel or tract of real property situate, lying in and being a portion of that certain tract of land described in deed from Joseph if7ebster, et u~, to Luther V3ebster, dated Tylarch 22, 1955, and -1- ~.~~~ recorded December 6, 1956 in Book $57 of Official Records, at Page 549, Records of Butte County, California; and being also in Section 2, Township 21 North, Range 1 West, IVi.D.til., said parcel being described as follows; Beginning at the intersection of the ~.andside right of ~vay line of the herein described parcel with the centerline of that certain County Road known as River Road; said point of beginning being located South 1$° 26' 49" west 6924.92 feet from. the northeast corner of ij Lot 9 of the T~Ieridian Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho as said lot is shown on the official plat thereof filed October $, 1901 in Book 49B'4 of I~Iaps of Page 16, Butte County Records; TI-IENCE FROM SAID POINT OF BEGINiVIIvG along said landside right of way line South 270 094 1044 [~dest 200.71 feet; thence South 03~ 039 4041 West 150.00.. feet; thence South 1$~ 569 00t9 East 233.00 feet; thence leaving said landside right of way line East 60.00 feet to the centerline of Big Chico Creek; thence along said centerline upstream northerly 497.61 feet to the afore- mentioned centerline of River Road; thence along said centerline of River Road I~Iorth 460 219 4091 West 96.00 ~{ feet to the point of beginning cantaining-1.16 acres, more or less, of which 0.07 of an acre is in existing County Road right of way, 0.69 of an acre is in existing channel of Big Chico Creek and 0.1+0 of an acre is new land taken. The TVorth Meridian used in this description is that adopted for this area by the Department of the army, Gorps of Engineers.
