RESOLUTION 62- i~9
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION DECLARING POLICY REGARDING REFUNDS ON COUNTY PERMITS
WHEREAS, the question has arisen whether the County of Butti
should make refunds on building permits and other permits; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has considered the question in
its entirety;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That no refund shall be made on any County permit
except in the case of a clerical error made by the County of
Butte;
2. That in the case of a clerical error a party seeking
refund shall submit to the department that issued the permit a
claim for refund upon an approved County Claim Eorm;
3. The head of each department shall have the responsibil-
ity of approving said claims;
4. That a sign advising persons seeking permits be promin-
ently displayed in each office, where permits are issued, informing
individuals that "NO REFUND SF~AT.,T, BE GIVEN ON ANY PERMIT ISSUED BY
THIS OFFICE EXCEPT FOR CLERICAL ERRORS MADE BY TIDE COUNTY OF BUTTE
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
Fryde who moved its adoption, seconded by
Supervisor Steinegger and said Resolution was
passed this 21st day of May, 1962, on roll call by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, FrJde, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredge
NOES : None
ABSENT: Nane
