HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-053~~~; 1 RESOLUTION NO. 62- s~ 2 ~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 3 COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA 4 RESOLUTION ANb NOTICE DECLARING INTENTION TO SELL, REAL PROPERTY (Government Code 5 Section 25526, et se .) 6 I 7 BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Supervisors of the County 8 of Butte, State of Calif ornia, as follows: 9 1. That said Board hereby declares that it intends to 10 sell that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, I1 State of California, more particularly described as follows: 12 Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in Block 1 as shown in that certain map entitled "Map of Mulberry Tract 13 Subdivision No. 1 Valley Syndicate addition to Chico, Cal." which map was recorded in the office 14 of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, on March 14, 1907, in Book 6 of Maps at 15 page 90. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northwesterly 8 feet of Lots 9 and ld. i6 2. That the terms and conditions of said sale are as I7 follows: 18 (a) That the minimum price that will be acceptable 19 for the said par..cel of real property is $30,OOOe00. 20 (b) That the purchase of said real property is to 21 be paid in cash, as follows: IO/ thereof to accompany bid and 22 the balance upon close of escrow to be established with title 23 company upon acceptance of bid. 24 25 (c) County to furnish and pay for title insurance. 3. That Monday, the ~~ day of June, 1962, at 26 11:00 A.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the time at which the 27 Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, at a regular meeting 28 of said Board, will receive sealed proposals to purchase said real 29 property and will consider said sealed proposals, and the place 30 of said meeting will be in the Supervisors' Room of the Courthouse, 31 situate on Huntoon Street, in the City of Oroville, County of Butte, 32 State of California. - 1 - ~~~~ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 I 16 17 18 19 20 21 I, 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 4. That no commission will be paid to any licensed real est~e broker. 5. That notice of the adoption of this resolution and t: time and place of Molding the meeting to consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property shall be given by posting a copy of this resolution, signed by the Chairman of the Board, in three (3) public places in the County not less than fifteen (15) days before the date of the meeting, and by publish- ing the notice in the County pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government Code, to wit, once a week for three (3) successive weeks. 6. At the time and place fixed herein for the meeting to consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property, the highest qualifying bid will be accepted, unless upon a call for oral. bids, such oral bids shall exceed by at least 5°/, the highest written proposal. 7. The Board of Supervisors shall consider written proposals and oral bids separately and reserve the right to accept or reject all written proposals and/or oral bids. 8.
