/ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PRELIMINARY BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1962-63
(GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 29,000 et, seq.)
BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That the tabulation of an expenditure program for the fiscal year
1962-63 has been presented by the Auditor to the Clerk of this Board, which
tabulation has been reviewed under the direction of this Board, and now con~-
forms to its judgment as a proper preliminary financial program for said fis-
cal year and is hereby adopted as the "Preliminary Budget of the County of
Butte for the Fiscal Year 1862-63."
2. Said "Preliminary Budget" shall be reproduced in full in pamphlet
form and sufficient number of said Budget Pamphlet shall be provided so that
each taxpayer who desires may obtain one, and a copy shall immediately be for-
warded to the State Controller by the Auditor.
3. The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith publish a notice once in a
newspaper of general circulation stating that:
($) The:"Preliminary Budget" pamphlets are available to taxpayers
requesting them, on and after the 18th day of June, 1962.
(b) That this Board of Supervisors will meet at 11:00 A.M, on Monday,
the 16th day of July, 1962, in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Court-
house on Huntoon Street, in the City of Oroville, County of Butte, State of
California, for the purpose of fixing the final budget and any taxpayer may
appear thexeat and be heard regarding the increase, decrease, or omission of
any item of the Budget or for the inclusion of additional items, all in
accordance with Section 29,074 of the Government Code of the State of Calif o:
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Giles, who moved
its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Pittman, and said Resolution was passed
this 11th day of June, 1962 on roll call by.the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman
Alldredge.
NOES: Nona
ABSENT : None
NOT VOTING: None
