COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIF01tNIA
RESOLUTION RE VESTING TIU; STATE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES TO INCLUDE FUNDS
IN THEIR 19 2- 3 BUDGET FOR WATER RESOURCE DEfIELOPNB~IT STUDIES IN BUTTE COUNTY
1, WHEE~AS, Butte Gounty is a County of Origin; and
2i; WHEREAS, Butte County must develop and reserve adequate supplies of
,3 water for its ultimate development; and
4' WfU;REAS, Butte County wi11 require additional data to determine water
~' requirements in valley and foothill areas; and
6: WI-~REAS, Butte County will require additional detailed water resource
7 development studies to determine feasible sources and means of supplying water
18; to meet the needs of these valley and foothill areas;
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE Ifi RESOLVID that the Board of Supervisors of the
14~ County of Butte urge that the State Department of Water Resources include funds
11' in its 1862-63 budget for the aforementioned studies in Butte County.
12 The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pittman
i3 ~ , who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor
14 Pryde , and said Resolution was adopted and passed this
