AND 5~,,,•PHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RE.PURCHAa~ OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES

PALETiMO ROAD-LINCOLN STREET FAS 1331+(1)
,1;. ~7HERF.AS, COUNTY OF BUTTE in conjunction with Bureau of Public, Roads
;2: and Division of Highways desires to reconstruct and improve Palermo Road--
3i Lincoln Street between Mill Street and Oroville Dam Boulevard (FAS 1331+(1)) to
4: provide the needed facilities to handle present and future traffic; and
5 WETEItEAS, a parcel of land owned by the SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, adja-
~6~ cent to and parallel with said reconstruction and .improvement, is needed by the
!7~ County for said project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERrTISORS of the
'9' COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
10 1. That sand Board hereby approves that certain indenture made the
1Z; 11th day of June , 1862, by and between SOUTHERN
12; PACIFIC COMPANY and COUNTY OF BUTTE wherein an easement for the necessary right
1.3' of way for this project is granted to the COUN'T'Y OF BUTTE for the sum of .Four
14 Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars {$4,125.00).
7~5 2. The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute said
Z6 indenture, his signature to be attested by the Clerk of this Board, and
17 acknowledge.

18 3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be attached by the Clerk
!19 of said Board to said indenture and the required copies thereof.
20 The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pryde
21 , who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor ',
22 Pittman , and said Resolution was adopted and passed this
23 11th day of June , 1962, upon roll call by the
24 following vote:
25 AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde,5teinegger and
Chairman Alldredge
