ALTERNATE U.S. 1+0 IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF .CALIFORNIA 1 (VEHICLE CODE SECTION 22506) 2 3, WHEkiEAS, the Department of Public Works of the State of California ~~ has requested this Board to prohibit the parking and standing of vehicles at 5; the intersection of Oroville Dam Boulevard and Alternate U. S. 40, southwest 6' of the City of Oroville, Butte County, California, as hereinafter more speci- ~',_ fically set forth; and 8' WHIItElAS, said Department of Public Works has approved this Resolution 9 in writing; and IO?': WHEREAS, it appears to this Board, and said Board finds, that is ];I' is necessary for the public safety to prohibit the parking and standing of 12' vehicles as hereinafter set forth;: ]3: NOW, THIItEE'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the. I4., County of Butte, State of California, as follows:. 75'. 1. That the parking and standing of vehicles upon and along the 16i hereinafter described portions of Alternate U. S. 40 shall be and it is 17~' hereby prohibited from and after the date of this Resolution. Said portions lg, of said Alternate U. S. 40, upon which said parking and standing of vehicles fig!. is hereby prohibited, are described as follows, to wit: 2p (a) On the east side of Alternate U. S. 40 along the 21= curb which lies between a point 65 fest north and 120 22` feet north of the centerline of Oroville Dam Boulevard, 23' (b) On the east side of Alternate U. S, 40 along the 24! . curb which lies between a point 150 feet south and 50 2B` feet south of the centerline of Orov:i.Lle Dam Boulevard. 26~; 27,' 2. That appropriate signs shall be placed and maintained at and 28' within the areas hereinabove referred to and described. 29; 3. That this Resolution is adopted. pursuant to the provisions 30• of Sections 22506 and 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. 31~ 4. Any provision of this Resolution which rega].ates traffic or Is 32' delegates the regulation of traffic upon state highways in any way for which _1_ l 2' 3'. 4; 5.
