RESOLUTION AND NOTICE DECLARING INTENTION
;4 TO SELL REAL PROPERT'Y' (Government Code
Section 25526, et seq.}

6 BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
7 of Butte, State of California, as follows:
'8 1. That said Board hereby declares that it intends to
9 sell that certain real property situate in the County of Butte,
10 State of California, more particularly described as follows:
11 Lot 5 in Block 6, and the South half of an abandoned
alley lying between Lots 5 and 6 in Block 6, accord-
12 ing to that certain map entitled, "Town of Paradise,"
which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of
13 the County of Butte, State of California, April 4,
1904, in Book "4" of Maps, at page 7.

20 That the terms and conditions of said sale are. as

follows:

(a) That the minimum price that will be acceptable
17
for the said parcel of real property is $ / 02 5OD --
18
(b) That the purchase of said real property is to
19
be paid in cash, as follows: 10% thereof to accompany bid and
20
the balance upon close of escrow to be established with title
21
company upon acceptance of bid.

(c} County to furnish and pay for title insurance.

3. That Tuesday, the ~ day of September, 19b2, at `~

11:00 A.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the time at which the
25
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, at a regular meeting
26
of said Board, will receive sealed proposals to purchase said real
27
property and will consider said sealed proposals, and the place of
28
said meeting will be in the Supervisors' Room of the Court House,
29
situated on Huntoon Street, in the City of Oroville, County of
30
.Butte, State of CaliforniaQ

4. That notice of the adoption of this resolution and the
32
time and place of holding the meeting to consider sealed proposals

for the purchase of said real property shall be given by posting
a copy of this resolution, signed by the Chairman of the Board,
in three (3) public places in the County not less than fifteen
(15) days before the date of the meeting, and by publishing the
notice in the County pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government
Code, to wit, once a week for three (3) successive weeks.
5. At the time and place fixed herein for the meeting to
consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property,
the highest qualifying bid will be accepted, unless upon a call
for oral bids, such oral bids shall exceed by at least 5/ the
highest written proposal.
6. The Board of Supervisors shall consider written prop-
osals and oral bids separately and reserve the right to accept
or reject all written proposals and/oz oral bids.
7. The foregoing resolution was duly adopted and passed

at a regular open meeting of said Board held on the day of
August, 1962, on roll call by the following vote.
