Home My WebLink About62-078~ ~ RESOLUTION N0. :, .~ ' ~ ~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STi~TE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION FIXING T'AX RATES IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE (Government-Code Section 29120 to 2912b Inclusive) Tr~t~EItEAS, the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STYIITE OF CALIFORNIA, did at a regular meeting of said Board, and after due and proper notice as required by law, by resolution adopt a final budget .for the COUN~'Y OF BUTTE for the fiscal year 1962-1963, which said Resolution is on file in the office of the Clerk of said County; and WHERe~A3, it is encumbent upon said Board, in accordance with Article 5, Division 3, Title 3 (being Sections 29120 to 29126, inclusive, of the Government Code), to by resolution fix the tax rate of said County for the fiscal year 1962-1963; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows: 1. That said Board does hereby fix the rates of county and distrS.et taxes on the secured roll of said County for the fiscal year 1962-1963 by designating the number of cents levied for each fund on each One Hundred Dollars (100.00) of taxable value in the County of Butte for the fiscal year 1962 1.963 as is hereinafter set forth„ The designated rates as hereinafter set forth are such as will produce, after due allowance for d~liriquency as fixed by law or as hereinafter fixed by this Board and iiz the same manner as tax rates are fixed, the amount found by deducting from the total appropriations and reserves: (a) The amount of estimated revenue from other sources. (b) Available surplus. 2. In addition to any other allowance for delinquency as fixed by law or this Board, a sum equal to five per cent (5ro) of the assessed valuation of the local secured roll and the local unsecured roll is hereby determined as the allowance for delinquency.
