RESOLUTION OF ABAi~TDOPlt~'II;NT OF BUTTE COUNTY HIGH4~IAY 4trIiER.EAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore declared its intention`,to vacate and abandon tYte folloti~ng described public highway of the County of Butte, A11 that portion of the former State Highway 40A as shown on maps filed for record on September 10, 1954, in State Highway I'Zap Book IQo. 2, in the County of Butte, State of California, at pages 15$ through 1b4, described as: Beginning at a point from which the south quarter corner of Section Two (2) Township Nineteen (19) Atorth, Range Four (4) East I~.D.2~I., bears South 63°16'28" East 1,804.82 feet, said point being state highway engineers' centerline station 183-x-00 of the Department of Public Works' 1929 survey from Orovi7.le to Jarbo Pass, District ITI-BUT-21-B; thence along the centerline of said State highway to a point on the north line of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Twenty (20) North, Range Four (4) East M.D.B.BcNf., from which the northwest corner of said Section 3b bears South 89°11'30" West 3,364.81 .feet, said point being State Highway Engineers' Centerline Station 329a-b3.5o.of the Department of Public Works' 1929 survey from Oroville to Jarbo Pass, District III-BUT-21-B. ~ S, upon filing resolution of intention to abandon said highway, the Board of Supervisors did, by order, fix the fourth (4th) day of September, 1962, at 11:00 o'clock, A.P7., at the Butte County Courthouse, Oro~ra.lle, California, as the time and place for a public hearing; and ~]HE~7EAS, notice of said hearing was given to all freeholders of the district in which said highway is located by publication for two suc- cessive weeks prior to the date of said hearing, in the OrovS.lle i4ercury, and by the posting of similar notice along the line of the highway proposed to be abandoned; and WHII~,EAS, it appears that all legal requirements have been complied with, and the Board, being fully informed and advised, finds that the highway described in said resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; NOW, THII~'ORE, BE IT RInSOLVED, that the public highway as above described is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
