RESOLUTION DIRECTIAIG THE RELOCATIOAI OF TRAFFIC
SIGi~?S OId CERTAIiJ COUDITY I-IIGHGFAYS
(Section 2135 Eq. Seq.. of the. Vehicle Code of the
State of California)

2' WI-I~2EAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, pursuant to
3 authority vested in it by the Vehicle Code of the State of California did, by
4 appropriate action, order and direct that STOP signs be erected at the inter-
5 section of the former State Highway Sign Route 99E and the Richvale West and
6 Richvale-South Roads, and
~ L~?HEREAS, said former state highway is now a county road, the northerly
8 leg of which is now known as the P~Lidway, the easterly leg of which is now
9 known a.s the Richvale-East Road, and the curved section in the northeasterly
10: quadrant connecting said Aiidway to said Richvale-East Road which is now known
11 as the Midway-Richvale East Connection, and
12 U~'i-IF;RE.'15, a ~~traffic engineering survey now indicates that the corner
~3 action be rescinded and STOP and YIELD RIGHT OF WAX signs be installed as
14 follows:
15' 1. YIELD RIGHT OF WAY northbound on the Richvale-South Road at its
I;6' intersection with the lZidway and the P4idway-Richvale East

18 20 Y'IEI,D RIGHT OF WAY eastbound on Richvale West Road at its
19 intersection with the Tti.dway-Richvale East Connection and the
20 Richvale-East Road,
21. 3. STOP eastbound on Richvale YJest Road at its intersection with
$2 Richvale-South Road.
23. 4. STOP northbound on Richvale-South Road at its intersection with
24 Richvale-Brest Road.
25 Ar04•d, ^1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
26 County of Butte that the Director of Public U~Iorks is hereby directed to remove
27 the existing STOP signs and reinstall STOP and YII~D RIG~iT OF WAY signs as
2i3 heretofore designated.

The foregoing Resolution was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of this Board on the 11th day of
Septembe r , 1962, upon roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde, Steinegger and
Chairman Alldredge
