That it is the intention of said Board of Supervisors to abandon the County highway hereinafter described, if it is det- ermxied: at the hearing as hereinafter set, that said County highway, for a period of five (5} successive years was impassable for vehicular traffic, and during such period of time no public monies were expended for maintenance, and that said County highway is an unnecessary highway subject to abandonment pursuant to Sections 954 thru 958 of the Streets and Highways Code of the Stat of California. 2. That the hearing on this resolution to abandon:: County highway shall be held on Tuesday, the ~.Oth day of November, 1962, at 11:00 A. M. of said day, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Board will permit, in the Supervisors' Raom in the Butte County Court House, fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville, California, at which time said Board will hear evidence of any party interested. 3. That this notice and resolution is adopted pursuant to a petition filed for the abandonment of said County Highway. 4. That a copy of this notice and resolution shall be poste6 at least two weeps prior to the date fixed for the hearing, conspicuously along the line of said County highway proposed to be abandoned and shall be posted not less than 500 feet apart, but at least three (3) shall be posted. 5. That a copy of this notice and resolution shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the - 1 - ~~~"~' '2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 County of Butte iri the Chico-Enterprise newspaper for at leastiwo successive weeks prior to the date fixed for the hearing thereof. 6. That the County highway the subject of this notice and resolution is situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and described as follows: All that portion of Oak Drive lying Easterly of Filbert Street and all that portion of Hickory Way lying Easterly of Filbert Street, as said streets are shown on the Map of Va11ey View Subdivision filed in the office of the Recorder of said Butte County in Map Book 15 at pages 3 and 4. The foregoing resolution was adopted and passed on the 23rd day of October, 1962, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredge NOES: None ABSENT: None Chairman of the% Board of Supervisors County of Butte, State of California AT'PEST JESSZE ROGERS, Butte County Cleric and ex--officio Clerk of the Board Hof Supervisors.
