OF.EAT~IFORNIA, (VEHTCL"E.CODE SpGTI0N.22506) ~, the Department of Public Works of the State of California has requested this Board to prohibit the parking and standing of vehicles on U.S. Highway 99.E near the city of Gridley, Butte County, California, as hereinafter more specifically set forth; and Wf~EAS, said Department of Public Works has approved this Resolution in writing; and S~iffiEAS, it appears to this Board, and said Board finds, that it is necessary for the public safety to prohibit the parking and standing of vehicles as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THE~'ORE, BEi IT i~50LVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County of Butte, State of California, as follow"se 1. That the parking and standing of vehicles upon and along the hereinafter described portions of U.S. Highway 99E, State Route 3, shall be and it is hereby prohibited from and after the date of this Resolution. Said portions of said U. S. Highway 99E, State Route 3, upon which said parking and standing of vehial.es is hereby prohibited, are described as follows, to wit: (a) Along both-sides of State Route 3, from the Center of Turner Avenue in Butte County to 360 feet south, and along the west side of State Route 3, from the center of Turner Avenue to 180 feet north. (b) Along the east side of State Route 3 from the Center of Cherry Street south 310 feet and north 260 feat. 2. That appropriate signs shall be placed and maintained at and within the areas hereinabove referred to and described. 3. That this Resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions of Sections 22506 and 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, ~..
