RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RESOLUTION OF THE PARADISE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ANNEXING
CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE PARADISE FIlIE PROTECTION DISTRTCT,.PUR,SUANT TO SECTION
1L.215.5 OF THE FTEAITH.AND.SAFETY CODE.
WHEREAS the PARADISE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT has, on Oetober 2'~, 1962, passed
a Resolution for the purpose of annexing two (2) parcels of real property to the said
District, and;
1r7HEREA.S proceedings resulting in said Resolution were conducted pursuant to
Section 1t~211 et seq of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, and;
WHEREAS said Resolution has been presented to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVID that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte deem it to be in the best interest of the people of the PARADISE FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT, and the County of Butte, that the property referred to in said Resolution
be annexed, and this Board hereby approves said Resolution of the PARADISE FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT annexing to said District the following described real property:
. PARCEL I
The Southerly 125 feet of that certain piece or parcel of land situate,
lying and being in the West half of the Northeast quarter of Section 22,
Township 22 North, Range 3 East, M. D. B. & M., County of Butte, State of
California, described as foJ.lows:
Being a portion of that certain parcel of land described in deed dated
February 12, 1903 from Henxy Miller to Fred M. Clough, recorded February
19, 1903 in Book 65 of Deeds, at Page 532, Butte County records, parti-
cularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly
line of Birch Street of the Town of Paradise with the Westerly line of
right of way (250 feet wide}.described in said deed, distant North 25°
01~.' 06" East, 1918.1.3 feet from the center of said Section 22; thence_
North 21~° 05' 30° East along said Westerly line of right of way 300.0 feet;
thence South 65 ° 51,.' 30't Fast, 10.0 feet to a point distant 110 feet
Westerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of main track
of the Central Pacific Railway Company (formerly the Chico and 3dorthern
Railroad Company) at Engineer Station 201130; thence South 21a.° 05' 301'
West parallel with said center line of main track, 300.0 feet to a
point in said Easterly prolongation of the Northerey line of Birch Street,
distant 110 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from said center
line of main track at Engineer Station 201~.-t30; thence North 65° 51,.' 3011
West, along said Easterly prolongation of Birch Street, 10.0 feet to the
point of beginning, containing an area of 0.285 acres, more or less.
PARCEL II
Being a portion of that certain parcel lying in the West half of the
Northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 22 North, Range 3 East,
iii. D. B. & M., described in deed from Henry Miller to Fred M. Clough,
dated February 12, 1903 and .recorded in the office of the Recorder of

the said County of Butte, on February 19, 1903 in Book 65 of Deeds, at
page 532, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Easterly prolongation of the
Northerly line of Birch Street of the Town of Paradise, with the Westerly
line of right of way (250 feet wide), described in said Deed, said
point being North 25° 01~' 06" East,.19~-g.43 feet from the center of said
Section 22; thence North 21~° 05' 30" East, along said ~Testerly line,
125.00 feet to the true point of beginning for the parcel herein described;
thence from said true point of beginning continuing along said Westerly
line, North 2y.° 05' 30'' East, 175.00 feet; thence South 65° 5~' 30" East,
10.00 feet; thence South 2~.° 05' 30" West 175.00 feet; thence North 65°
51~' 30t' West, 10.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Passed and adopted this 5th d~.~y of November , 1962 by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredge
