HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-098.. - ;' ~'~~, s~` l RESOLUTION 62- 98 2 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIE'ORNIA 3 ORDER ABANDONING COUNTY HIGHWAY AS UNNECESSARY IN ACCORDANCE WITH 4 Section 954 et se of the STREETS AND HIGHPTAYS CODE 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE 6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIAN as follows: 7 1. 'T'hat said Board finds that Notice of Abandonment of 8 the hereinafter described real property as a county highway has ;9 been duly given in accordance with Section 955 of the Streets and 10 Highways Code of the State of California; and !11 2. That said Board finds from the evidence produced at 12 the hearing upon the abandonment of said real property as a 13 county highway, that .the same, for a period of five (5j consecu- ~4 tive years was impassable for vehicular travel, and during such 15 period of time no public monies were expended for maintenances 16 and that said county highways are unnecessary highways subject to 1:7 abandonment pursuant to Sections 954, 955 and 956 of the Streets 18 and Highways Code of the State of California, lg NOWr THEREk'ORE, in accordance with the foregoing, and 20 the petition for abandonment filed hereins the Board of Supervisors 21 of the County of Buttes State of Californian hereby makes this 22 order: 23 1. That the hereinafter described county highway be 2~4 abandoneds and that said county highway is hereby declared to 25 be abandoned as unnecessary is particularly described as follows, 26 to wit: 27 All that portion of Oak Drive lying Easterly of Filbert Street and all that portion of Hickory 28 Way lying easterly of Filbert Streets as said streets are shown on the Map of Valley View 29 Subdivision filed in the office of the Recorder of said Butte County in Map Book 15 at Pages 30 3 and 40 31 20 That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified 32 copy of this Orders attested by the Clerk under the seal of the Boards to be recorded in the office of the County Recordero - 1 - ~. ~_ ~.~ _ . ,1 2 3 4 5 g ;7I 8' 9 10 I1 12 13 14 15 ~:s 17' 18 '' 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ~ . The foregoing Order was introduced by Supervisor Steinegger who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Pryde and said Order was passed this 20th day of November, 1962, on roll call by the following vote: AYES:.
