RESOLUTION IN RE DEVELOPMENT OF A PORTION OF BIDWELL
4 RIVER-PARK BY THE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION BOARD OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA

6 WHEREAS, it is now the program of the WILDLIFE CONSERVA-
7 TION BOARD, of the State of California, to lease a portion of the
'8 Bidwell River Park, in the County of Butte, State of California,
9 for the purpose of making certain capital improvements thereon
10 and establishing the same as a public access to the Sacramento
11 River, near the site of the "Old Chico Landing" and area known as
ZI "Tyler Slough", in the County of Butte;
13 NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVIS-
14 ORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIAs AS FOLLOWS:
~:5 1. That said project would be of benefit to the people
16 of the County of Butte and to the general public and as a

17 recreation area, and said Board of Supervisors respectfully urges ~

18 that the Wildlife Conservation Board favorably consider such ~
L'9 projecto
20 2. That said area is presently leased to the Chico Area
i
21 Recreation and Park District and that this Board would favorably
22 consider any request from said District to lease that portion of
23 said Bidwell River Park that would be required for the aforementio
24 uses to be developed by the Wildlife Conservation Board.
25 The foregoing resolution was introduced by Supervisors
26 Giles ~ who moved its adoption, seconded by Super-
27 visor Pryde and said resolution was passed this 27t
2$ day of November, 1962, on roll call by the following vote:
29 AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Pryde, Steineg~er and Chairmen
