Subsequent scour at re- maining bents has occurred and it is felt that failure at these bents will occur, therefore it is proposed to replace this structure on the basis of a betterment. B. #1B1a.85C Baggett-Palermo Road 2 00) C. #54545A Pulga Road (1 000) The southerly span of the bridge across Wyman Ravine collapsed due to scouring and subsequent collapse of the southerly abutment. Similar damage is imminent at the north abutment; therefore it is proposed to replace this struc- ture on the basis of a betterment. Six slides and eight washout sections occurred on this road. Slides occurred, completely block- ing road to traffic. Slip--out sections occurred, one of which was approximately 1~0 feet long by the width of the road, One washout of a fill section occurred 18 feet wide by 10 feet deep for the full width of roadway at location of two 5--foot and one 1~-foot CMP pipes. In order to restore service to this road, it will be neces- sary to install 40-foot long cove retaining wall, metal bin wall or concrete crib wall in one location and also place embankment. r CC :Y' OF BUTTE Project No.: BC-FD 63-1 ATTACI~NT #3 {Total Category #4 ., $12,000) EMEI"t~ENCY REPAIR DRAINAGE FACILITIES {Category #1+) Dry Creek @ Oro Dam Blvd. The storm in question washed away portions of this sack concrete riprap channel, deposited ( 12 000 gravel and cobbles in a 9-foot round pipe, and completely fi]l.ed a 10-foot arch for a length of approximately 1,000 feet. It is proposed to remove the deposited material, replace the damaged sack concrete riprap and extend this riprap upstream from the pipe arch to a sheet piling weir.
