WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that for efficient operation of the Treasurer and Tax Collector's office of the County of Butte the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a cash difference fund and a cash overage fund; and WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29370 et seq provide for the establishment of such funds. NOW, THEREFORE¢ BE IT RESOT,VED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTEr STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as followsz 1. There is hereby established a cash difference fund for the use of the County Treasurer & Tax Collector of the County of Butte. 2. There is hereby established a cash overage fund for the use of the Treasurer & Tax Collector of the County of Butte. 3. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby author- ized and directed to draw a warrant for the sum of $_1p0,Op in favor of the Treasurer and Tax Collector of the County of Butte. 4. Any officer or employee of the Treasurer & Tax Collector's office of the County of Butte who receives or disburses money placed in his custody by the Treasurer and Tax Collector of the County of Butte shall render a written report at the close of each business day, setting forth the exact sum of any cash deficit or overage in his account for that day. 5. The Treasurer and Tax Collector of the County of - I - `1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ZO 11 12 13 14 i5 16 17 I8 19 20 21 22 23 '24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Butte shall immediately reimburse a cash deficit reported to him provided, however, the reimbursement shall not exceed the amount of cash difference fund. 6. The Treasurer and Tax Collector of the County:of Butte immediately upon report to him of a cash overage shall deposit said overage in cash overage fund. 7. At the end of each fiscal year the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte shall transfer any money in the cash overage fund to the County General Eund. The foregoing resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pittman who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Steinegger and said Resolution was passed this 18th day of becember, 1962, on roll call by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pittman, Steinegger and Chairman Alldredgj NOES .
