IN THE CQ~iJNTY ®F BUTTE, AND CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION T~
DETERMINE NETHER EI~R Nom` THE DISTRICT SHALL BE CREATED.
~IEREAS, heretofore there was filed with the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, a
petition for the formation of a cemetery district whose
boundaries are described in Exhibit i~An attached to this
Resolution, and made a part hereof as if specifically set
forth in detail, and
AREAS, all of the requirements as set forth by
statute for the formation of such district have been
complied with, and particularly Suction 8$90 et seq of the
Health and Safety Code pertaining to public cemetery districts,
and Section 58000 et seq of the Government Code pertaining
to being the district organized by law, and
~,TF~, at the hearing held by said Board on the 9th
day of April, 1963, being the noticed hearing, no protests
were filed, and
`~.'ER~AS, at said hearing the matter was continued to
the 16th day of April, 1963 for further heating as to whether
or not an election should be called to determine whether or
not the district should be formed; as to what the boundaries
of the district should be; and as to whether or not there
should be 3 or 5 directors, and said continued hearing having
been held and terminated,
N~ THEREF~ BE IT RESCDLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California as follows, to wits
1. That the boundaries of the Dayton Cemetery Distxict

in the Co~snty of Butte, State of California, are hereby
established as set forth in exhibit "A" attached heretoo
2. That said District shall be governed by a Board of
Trustees consisting of 5 Trustees appointed by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California.
3. That a special election shall be called by the Clerk
of the County of Butte to determine whether or not the Dayton
Cemetery District, bounded and described as hereinbefore set
forth, shall be created and said Clerk shall present to this
Board an order calling said election as required in Section
8932 et seq of the Health and Safety Code, all in accordance
with the laws and statutes of the State of California,.

County of Butte, State of California, this 23rd day of
April, 1963, by the following votes
